First Santa Experience 2011

So I have been ridiculously blogligent lately, let's blame it on pregnancy and spending all of my time with 3 crazy toddlers (one being my nephew). By about 8 at night, I'm seriously ready for bed. But I'm finally feeling the urge to catch up our lives on here! Hooray!

So let's begin with our first Santa encounter that actually happened in the middle of November. He came very early this year. Our friends, the Ivins, invited us to the Riverwoods lighting extravaganza. It's amazing how awesome it looks and all of the work they've done with the lights! Livy thought it was awesome. Adam was just enjoying the free handouts of hot cider, cookies, cinnamon buns, and GLOW STICK NECKLACES. They were so happy! As was I, I love anything free. :)

(And thank you, Jessica, for the pics. At least someone is thinking to document our lives!)

The kids were LOVING the fires everywhere. Thank goodness they were there - it was so freezing.

Depressed that he ate his cinnamon roll sample so fast...

Free Samples!

And there it is. I think Adam has gotten worse since last year. The second we placed him on his lap - he was screaming bloody murder. Livy, however, was so excited to tell Santa that she wants a sewing machine for Christmas. She thought it was so funny that he asked her if she was going to make clothes with it. Now she keeps telling us about how she's going to make clothes for her babies. So hilarious!

Baby Bubba's First Appearance

I got to see Baby Bubba today and I was SO excited! I didn't know if my doctor would do an ultrasound at the first appt, but he did! I'll take it even though it's the most uncomfortable ultrasound EVER.

Baby Bubba is 100% healthy and perfect so far. I really was nervous because this pregnancy has been SO different than the other two. I haven't felt pregnant at all and of course my crazy mind kept worrying about a miscarriage - but nope!

And the baby is even measuring a week ahead of what we thought! I love having my due date changed to sooner date!!! The new due date is May 15th - and then the c-section will be scheduled the week before. Matt and I are so excited! Now it's real - this baby is legit. We are actually going to be a family of FIVE. Weird.

15 week BUMP - 3rd pregnancy is depressing - so big so fast...

Livy's belly shot. I'm sure we'll see more of these.

First (of many) Emergency Dental Experience

This boy is seriously going to be the death of me. He is NON-STOP in suicidal mode! Everything is a death defying stunt - I don't know how much more I can take!!! And he's only 20 months!!!

Anyhoo - here's what resulted from Adam trying to jump off his bottom bunk bed onto the trundle. (That is the alleged story that Jake and Livy are sticking to at least...)

Somehow he did not hurt his teeth at all - it's a miracle! He just damaged his soft tissue which is still kind of bleeding almost 12 hours after it happened. I've just come to accept that before his kindergarten pictures - he WILL have lost a front tooth. It's going to happen - I'm just going to accept it now.

His bottom lip also has a huge gash in it. Poor boy. The only upside was that he's gotten 30+ popsicles. It got him to stop crying immediately and helped a teeny tiny bit with the swelling. :)

Boots!

Nana and Pata bought Liv this sweet rainboots/umbrella combo today and the second she put them on - she was already planning poses of pics she wanted to take in her new getup. What have I turned this girl into?? Anyhoo... here are the poses she was LOVING.

Family pics!

We've escaped to Denver for the weekend and my mom was nice enough to snap some pics of our little familia. They turned out so cute! Thanks, Mom!!

Here are the pics with a different preset. My pregnant mind can't make itself up.

Halloweeny Happenings: Part 2

So here we have part 2 of our crazy Halloween Extravaganza - only a week later...

Halloween Extravaganza #4: The Gables Carnival

One of our neighbors put together this cute little carnival at our complex. The kids had a blast! They LOVED the tattoo section - unfortunately we forgot to take pics of that one part, of course. Adam was showing his Perry the Platypus tattoo for weeks after! Matt even joined in and put a tattoo on his arm. The kids thought it was so cool.

So I was over dying Liv's hair red by this point so we changed up our costumes for the carnival. Livy was a sparkly fairy and Adam was Charlie the Unicorn. It was hilarious.

 Bean bag toss

 Crafts table

Sweet unicorn costume that used to be Liv's. Go google Charlie the Unicorn if you want to find humor in this costume.

 Witch hat ring toss

Bobbing for worms. My kids did not want to try this but it was hilarious. They covered gummy worms in whip cream and they had to pick them our with their mouths. So funny!

Face Painting. I was so surprised Adam sat still for this! He HATED me putting a beard on his face for his bum costume. We sat completely still the entire time.

Little Spiderman and Elmo cheeks

Afterward, we were pooped. I love when the kids pretend sleep with me :)

Halloween Extravaganza Part 5: Aunt Shannon's Famous Halloween Party

So my great aunt Shannon has thrown this amazing Halloween party ever since I was little. I remember going every year. Now it's crazy taking my kids to it! It's still as amazing as ever! Livy was LOVING Shannon and uncle Chris. They were awesome with the little ones.

Blast from the past... here we are at their party 3 years ago...

Here we are today...

They have the coolest landscaping for pictures!!!

The Puppet Show - Chris put on the most hilarious puppet show Matt and I have ever seen. Liv and Adam were mesmerized.

The treasure hunt! All the kids were loving this. Shannon came up with the cutest clues all over their property. It was so fun to watch!

Livy was so excited when she got to pick up a clue. Shannon and Chris held off all of the other kids so Livy could find it before they did. It was so funny!

Adam even got to get in on the fun.

 Fun with Aunt Shannon

Musical chairs - did not end well for most :) Livy just dropped out of the game when she saw everyone crying. She didn't want to feel the same pain.

Then the dance party!! Shannon had glow sticks for everyone. Livy was LOVING it.

It's so hilarious to see Liv dance with Chris who's like 5 feet taller than her!

Totally pooped. This was after one minute into the drive home.

 Halloween Extravaganza Part 6: HALLOWEEN!!!

Getting Adam ready for the big night! This is his Rog facial style.

This is the only picture I got from the night. Haha They took off so fast! They were in heaven! Adam was so happy! He started using his hat as his bag for candy. It was so cute. Livy was so good at saying thank you at each house.

We love each other :) That's right. I made these shirts - I'm kind of a big deal...
