Happy Julianuary!

January has seriously come and gone! I can't believe it's almost over! However, my pregnancy feels like it has been dragging on - go figure! Anyhoo - we've been up to a lot of random nonsense lately - luckily it's all been caught on my phone! 

Get ready for some serious randomosity...

 This is how most of January has been until the recent snowfall. Nice enough to ride bikes in!

Adam's first movie! It was the Muppets - and Matt keeps asking to go see it again - he loved it the most! Liv got to sit next her one of her favorite little friends, Lola. They were so happy!

 I documented Adam's little foot one night when he was lying next to me on the couch. I love his chub that he's held on to.

 Here he is sleeping with us. He's been having horrible nights lately - I'm hoping we get it under control before the baby comes.

How sad is this picture? Livy's gymnastics lessons are torture on the poor boy! I wish I could take him to the Mommy and Me class. But we do have fun playing with daddy's basketball.

Documenting more sleeping problems

 Here are these two after my cousin, Tay, watched them. They were so happy after they left her house because they got to play with her sweet hamster for two hours. They can't wait to go back to her house! Also - Matt and I got a much needed date night and saw We Bought a Zoo - best movie ever - go see it!

Someone got a new gymnastics leotard and is SUPER excited about it! :) She got to pick between two leotards and she chose this one because she could have boobs... (?) haha Yes, I know how screwed I am with this one as a teenager.

Here we are at Texas Roadhouse where Matt is taking pity on his pregnant wife who didn't feel like making dinner. I like how Adam is perusing the alcoholic beverages menu...

And here we are at Matt's early Saturday morning bball game. To say Adam was excited is an understatement. He just sat in awe for the first 15 minutes. He could not take his eyes off the game. I mean, this kid sleeps at night with Matt's basketball - we are going to have some serious obsession one day!

First Snowday!

This winter has been SO mild! I can really only remember a couple snow days so far. Matt and I have loved it. It finally snowed this past week and I got the kids all geared up to go burn off some energy outside! We have been going a bit stir crazy these last couple months...

The boy was refusing to get geared up. He watched the kids play outside for 10 minutes until I made him get dressed in snow clothes. What kid has to be forced into snow clothes??? By the end of play time - he refused to come in. He's a tad bit stubborn, can you tell? I think he gets it from his dad...

I've Lost All Will Power...

Ever since I had my little bit of candy this year - I have had no more amazingly strong will power. So when we went to our ultrasound on Tuesday, Matt and I were already unsure if we could make it through the whole thing without finding out. Then when the technician asked us again if we were sure we didn't want to find out - WE CAVED!

And guess what we're having...

A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!

Matt and I were SO  surprised. We were so sure it was a boy. We've only really discussed boy names because this pregnancy has been SO easy - we just figured another little boy. We are so freaking excited! Matt even got a little emotional - no tears - but the manly kind of emotional. :) We are so excited for all the cuteness that will come along with this little girl! I can't wait to see if she is a clone of Liv or if she has her own little look!

At first she wouldn't show us anything but her cute little bum. Matt said right then that she must be a girl - trying to be all secretive!

She was squished with her body folded in half but she rested her head on one of her hands and had her legs crossed - so cute! We have the same pic of Liv in my belly.

 That is her actual eye! Weird.

Also, we let Liv come for the ultrasound to see the baby. She was so excited but then she got pretty nervous - especially when they did the heartbeat. Apparently that noise is really scary. The technician was loving her - she was talking to her nonstop of course. And then when we told her she was going to have a sister - she looked at us and said, "I told you so." :) I guess it wasn't anything new to her.

Livy & Adam 2012 Edition

I had a couple weeks off of watching my nephew, Jake, and it was so weird just having my two kiddlies. They are hilarious - and CRAZY. They are so funny to watch interact with each other. Adam is so intent on being as big as Liv and doing/saying everything she does. Liv is just a ball full of attitude. We're working on it, but I love that she has a strong personality. I love these little psychos!

Downin some cake batter together. This was a particularly proud Mommy moment - I believe they had this and kit kats for lunch that day...

Their obsession for the last several weeks has been Free Willy - Liv asks to watch it EVERYDAY! Ah! They love it though. Livy keeps telling me he's not a killer whale - he's a nice whale and Adam keeps making whale noises all day long.

Poor Adam was sick and falling asleep in this position while Livy wrote down notes about who knows what in her sparkly notebook with her princess pencil.

 

Here we are getting ready for church - Livy is now a SUNBEAM! She was so excited for Primary. She did so well! I know that she will behave just fine - but my fear is the information she might divulge to her teachers... :)

 

And Adam has advanced to Nursery #2! That's right - our ward has 3 nurseries! :)
