We took family pics while we were all together with the Baum fam in St. George last week and, of course, my pregnant brain can't pick a fav! I seriously love all of them. The girl that took our pics was so cute, too. I wish Adam would have been a bit more cooperative - but that is just not his thing lately! :)

Life Lately Nov-Dec
Ever since I got my first smart phone a couple weeks ago -- this is the first time in our marriage that my phone is cooler than Matt's, woo! -- I have been taking pictures like a mad woman! So I have all of these random pics that are definitely worth documenting!
We had our cute little friends over, Maliya and Rachel. They are moving soon and Liv is going to be devastated. Their mom needed to go run some errands so they came over and we watched A Muppet Christmas Carol and then painted our nails after - so fun!
So here's what life has been like lately around our household...
We had our cute little friends over, Maliya and Rachel. They are moving soon and Liv is going to be devastated. Their mom needed to go run some errands so they came over and we watched A Muppet Christmas Carol and then painted our nails after - so fun!
Every morning I work out and Adam and Jake do all of the exercises with me. It's so funny. The DVD exercise music has become Adam's favorite song to dance to - haha!
Adam has developed an unhealthy attachment to boots. He has to be wearing them all the time! They're the only shoes he'll wear. In the other pic above - he is drinking his sippy out of Liv's boot while falling asleep...
Livy is still a crazy head! This girl has so much attitude - she has way too much teenager in her for only being a 3-year-old. I'm terrified.
Adam has learned to smile and this is what happens.
Sibling love - they really do love each other and play together. I love it.
Adam has found a way to chill on his Buzz Lightyear thing - it's so funny and weird
We had to do another breathing treatment one night and this time he LOVED it - it was so funny.
My mom got us BUNK BEDS!!! The sweetest bunk beds ever. They have stairs, drawers, AND a trundle under so it's really 3 beds! Matt and his buddy, Lucas, put them together. The kids have been so excited. I built the trundle part ALL BY MYSELF. So I'm pretty awesome, too. Maybe more awesome than the guys because I'm pregnant and I was alone with 3 toddlers at the time... :)
We went to the aquarium with our friends, the Tophams, a while ago. The best part was the penguin exhibit. Adam kept hitting the glass with his glow stick necklace thing and they kept diving towards him - it was hilarious. The least awesome part was the anaconda that was GINORMOUS.
And lastly, I made this thing for my parents for Christmas! I was so proud of myself! And of course my parents have already seen it because I'm super awesome at keeping Christmas presents a secret when I'm excited... But each branch is one of their ancestors with their birth year if I was able to find one. I was so happy with how it turned out!
Dickens Festival!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you think this title has too many exclamation marks? I don't think it
has enough. This was the one Christmas adventure I was most excited
about. I remember going to this every year when I was little and taking
pictures with Father Christmas and getting random little trinkets from
the boutiques. The Dickens Festival is awesome! So Matt finally gave in (after months of showing it to him on the internet and talking to him about it)
and we got to go!
Woo! Dickens Festival 2011!
How bad did they want these!?
Here are the 10 foot Ghosts from A Christmas Carol walking around - didn't freak the kids out at all...
Adam has been making the funniest faces lately! That is kettle corn in his mouth, by the way, and yes he still only has 4 teeth on the bottom! I'm starting to think he has a rare disease where he has no teeth...
Okay, so we happened to sit down for a second to take a break and this little singing and dancing group came out on stage - they were Liv's age - and the Livy was HOOKED! Apparently, her Jordan genes run strong! We had to watch the whole performance and now all she wants to do is sing and dance - Nana's dream come true.
REINDEER!
Here are the little trinkets the kids got - Adam loves his light up sword.
And here was the best part! Father Christmas! Adam didn't even cry - he's the actual real Santa so why would he? Father Christmas knew to give Adam the candy cane first to win him over - then Adam became his best friend! He was actually smiling for a couple pics they took but I guess those didn't turn out. Also, who else is amazed that I got Matt to take a family pic with Santa? He must really love me. :) And the pic is totally scanned because I wasn't about to pay an arm and a leg for the CD!
The kids were so happy on the way home! Yay for traditions in the making - whether Matt accepts it or not!
