When You're the Best of Friends...

...you fight with each other, play with each other, annoy each other, hug each other, and even teach each other how to poop in the potty!

BFFs = Liv + Cos

Here they are celebrating with cookies after both pooping in the potty. It was so hilarious - Livy showed Cos how she poops in the potty and then when it was Cosette's turn - Livy said, "Okay Cos - just go like this (then some serious grunting noise)." It was the funniest thing I've ever seen. But it helped - a couple minutes later - Cos pooped in the potty! "And that's what frieeeeeeeeeeeends are for!" Name the movie. (Hint: it's being sung by vultures. And a tiger, too, I guess.)

Here they are teaching each other how to hold their little brothers. Poor boys.

Here are a couple BFFs in the making. And they are even wearing unintentional matching outfits. I mean seriously, look at those legs. Even though Rawson is only 2 months younger - he's almost the same size - minus the GINORMOUS legs!

Little Randoms:

I thought this was super cute until I realized she was licking the window...

It's funny how you get to know what your kids are thinking just by their facial expressions. For example, this face says: "What? I didn't just do anything naughty."

"Why won't you come off, sock!!!"

"I love my mommy!"

"I really want to put that camera in my mouth!!!"

Family Pics

We're in Tahoe for the annual Wiseman family vacation. Today we took some family pics that turned out super cute!

Livy and Adam happened to be matching Aunt Amy. And together they made the cutest picture ever!

This one was from the beach earlier today. It just happens to be the best picture ever.

Couponing 101

I titled this Couponing 101 because that's about as much as I know right now - the basics. I'm getting the hang of it, but I'm still figuring things out! But some of you have asked for some tips. I can take no credit for the deals I find - they're all online. They make it SO easy. They show you the deal, what coupons you need, and how to score it all for almost free. They also show deals nationwide. There are 3 websites that I check out at least once a day:

thekrazycouponlady.com

hip2save.com

myfrugaladventures.com (local for the Sacramento area)

Couponing is all about getting the best deal. Your goal is to try to use a store coupon with a manufacture's on top of a great deal that a store is having. So you plan on scoring stuff for almost free. Once you get the hang of it, it really doesn't take a long time. Your trips to the store are quick because you know exactly what you're getting.

Expect to be scoring most of your toiletries for FREE. Diapers have been RIDICULOUSLY CHEAP. And once you start making money off of buying groceries - you then use that money to pay for your weekly items like bread, eggs, milk, etc.

KrazyCouponLady: This site showed me how to start out. Go there and go to the section for Beginners. It teaches you all about coupons, the lingo, how to organize your binder (which will be ridiculously huge and insane), and tons of other great stuff. They have a book, too. Their website has all of the same information as well.

Besides that, there's not a whole lot I can say. But once you start getting the hang of it - you can expect to become a bit obsessed at first. Once you go to the store and save over 70% on what you're buying - you'll experience the "coupon high." It's addicting - so be careful!

My name is Adam and I am a Never-Nude*

How hysterical are the new Huggies jean diapers??? In my defense - they were SUPER CHEAP. Anyhoo, now Adam looks like a little Tobias-in-the-making. But on the other hand - these offer endless entertainment!

*If this post makes NO SENSE to you - you need to become familiar with Arrested Development. It will make this the funniest post you've ever read.

Uncle Drewbee's Getting Married!

I don't know how he did it, but somehow a super cute girl (Megan) has agreed to marry my brother! He officially proposed last night and we're so freaking excited! Their wedding is already set for October in the Salt Lake Temple. Funny side story: Livy was refusing to learn Megan's name when we were in Utah visiting them. Every time we'd ask her who Megan was - she would slyly change the topic. It was hilarious. Anywho, yesterday when Liv was blessing the food, she said: "Please bless the food. Please bless Mommy and Daddy and Adam and Drew and Megan..." Success!!! Megan has finally gotten the blessing from the most important family member in the Baumgartner clan. :)

In the Wiseman Household - We Bleed Blue!

Or maybe we salivate blue??? Livy was chomping on some sweet pretzel m&m's (that way over-do it on the blue dye) and then she saw her blue tongue and I had to take a picture.

She was LOVING it.

Anywho, we've been enjoying some lazy days lately (as in we're all in pajamas until the late afternoon - WE'RE NOT ASHAMED!). Matt's waiting to start his next job and we're getting ready for a family trip to Tahoe so we've been able to just hang out which has been nice since we endured some pretty crazy weeks at the beginning of the month. Here's what a little bit of "lately" has looked like for us:

Of course, Matt had to document his proudest moment.

Latest hilarious conversation with this girl:

Mommy: Livy chew your food or you're going to choke on it and die.
Livy: I not want to die!
Mommy: Okay, then start chewing.
Livy: No, Mom! I don't want to die! And you not want to die. And Daddy not want to die.

I guess watching March of the Penguins last week has really affected this girl.

Adam has become a thrill-seeker! As long as Daddy's balancing him or throwing him up in the air - he's happy.

Livy's been learning some sweet tricks from her cousins.

And Adam is chomping on anything he can get near his mouth. And he's a strong biter! "Is he teething?" you might ask??? Yeah right. Apparently, my kids can't grow teeth. The same thing happened with Livy at his age - we were CONVINCED she was teething for like 7 months. Not one tooth until 12 months! And she still doesn't have all of her teeth.

And what have I been up to???

All of this was $16 on $99 worth of stuff. PLUS I'll get 2 free movie tickets!!!! BOO YA!!!! And yes - both views are necessary! haha I love my coupons.

My Crazy Kid

Livy is so funny lately. We've been having hilarious little conversations, but I always forget right afterward. So I decided to post the latest one before I forget:

Livy: (Completely out of nowhere while we were driving home) Mommy, you're my best friend.
Mommy: Oh Liv! You're my best friend, too!
Livy: No, mom. You're MY best friend!
Mommy: Okay, Liv, whatever. Is Daddy your best friend, too?
Livy: (Starts laughing) No, Mommy! Daddy a boy!

Ha! How does she already think that way?? It was so funny.

Another little funny:

Livy: (While looking at me writing this post and looking at her picture) Oh, Mom! Look at me! I doing tricks!

She LOVES doing "tricks" lately. I need to get this girl back in gymnastics.

Serious Updates Heading Your Way!

The Wisemans have been MIA for the last few weeks (as has my sanity). Anywho, I'm finally updating our lives on here! So get ready for a post overload! I'll be putting them in chronological order - so start at the bottom at Six Flags!

Fun with Friends!

Our friends came out to the area to have a family reunion from Mississippi and were able to stay the weekend with us. I feel so adult having friends come and stay with us. haha We haven't seen them since we went and visited them over a year ago. Matt and Jeff were best buds their freshman year at BYU - and then Courtney and I were added to the mix later as the wives! We were so excited to spend time with them and their cute family! We took the kids to the mall, a splash park, and the railroad museum. It was so fun!

Our two youngest becoming BFFs.

Here are the three older ones. I feel bad because Liv was sick the whole time they were here - so she was a bit nasty to them, but then today when they left, they were hugging each other goodbye - it was the cutest thing ever!

The whole gang! People were staring at all of our strollers as we walked past them. It was funny.

Best Buds with their Boys

The kids were loving the hugeness of the trains

This officially ends the last crazy/awesome weeks of our lives! It's funny because it feels really weird to only have two kids right now! haha Being a mommy of 2 has gotten A LOT easier - isn't that funny?? Well hopefully we'll be having a much more relaxing couple of weeks for a while...

From 6 kids to 5

So the day after we got home from watching the cute little Pulsiphers - we took on Matt's brother's kids - Gabrielle (6), Cal (4), and little Max (1). So I had 5 kids from 0-6! It was insane! Livy was in heaven with her cousins - so was Adam! I managed to keep things under control by having a movie each night. And in order to watch the movie, the kids had to clean up the toys and eat all of their food that day. It totally worked! They did so good!

They loved Adam and Adam was so happy! He must be confused to only have Livy around now.

Cal was a hilarious character. He found Livy's old hat and was LOVING it.

Then the kids were teaching each other some sweet gymnastics moves. I need to get Livy doing her forward roll on camera! Cal was so excited when he busted this move out for the first time.

And this was poor little Max about 90% of the time. The poor kid seriously missed his Mommy. Matt wasn't allowed to look at him or else he would start crying immediately. haha And when I was holding Adam and not him - he would follow me and cry. He would actually stop crying when I left the room - follow me - and then find me and start crying again. It was sad and hilarious all at the same time.

4 Freaking Months Old!

This baby is 4 months old! It's crazy! He's gotten so big! Unfortunately, he hasn't had his appointment yet, so I don't have his stats but I'm sure he's on the ginormous side of the charts.

Here he is starting oatmeal. He downed his first bowl! Livy NEVER finished one bowl of that stuff. He's definitely going to be my intense little eater!

Here are some things about our little 4 month old:

*He's a rolling machine! He's rolling everywhere - it's crazy!
*He's already starting to get on all fours! You're suppose to be the calm one, Adam! Stop it!
*Eating like a maniac - and getting some serious chunk on his cute legs!
*Charming the ladies in our ward
*He's a smile fest - especially when he sees his Momma!
*He is so happy when he wakes up - the opposite of his mommy
*He has to stand ALL THE TIME. It's so funny to see his chunky legs in the locked position.
*He still loves watching Baseball and Soccer - the most boring sports ever to watch!
*He's slowly getting onto a schedule of two naps a day
*He LOVES little kids bombarding him - I'm serious - no sarcasm - he just giggles and giggles! Livy pushed him really hard in his swing one day and I sent her to time out and then looked at Adam and he was just laughing away - so I got Livy out and said sorry but told her to be a little more careful - but he loves her!
*He refuses to giggle on camera - so frustrating!
*He likes to be scared
*He likes the bumbo for like 5 seconds and then starts arching over it
*He still hates falling asleep and fights it like the plague but he loves to have a blanket on his face when he's falling asleep
*He's generally a very chill kid still
*Everything that is in his hand ends up in his mouth
*He's a biter without teeth - and it's painful!
*He's very loud, just like his sister!
*Has his daddy's "demon eyes" when he's woken up abruptly

Cute little Pics

I mean - look at the chunk on those legs! It's awesome!

Too inappropriate? Haha - it's just funny because this kid flips me off more than any other kid EVER. Almost every time that I look at him, he's usually flipping me off. Oh Adam! haha

Proof he won't giggle on camera.

His second time eating oatmeal.
