Boy oh Boy!

This kid is non-stop! See his poor burnt hand? He touched the burner on our stove! Is it really a surprise though?? No - this kid loves to walk the line of the boundaries we set for him. His hand is healing nicely - right after he did this - we put some burn gel on it and it seemed to really help. Now he keeps pointing to everything in the kitchen and calling it hot!

Here's where he likes to sleep in his room - right next to the door so that the second he wakes he can bang the door with his feet over and over again! It's not annoying at all at 6 in the morning! I'm at my wits' end with this kid and bedtime. I don't know how to get him to sleep in longer. He definitely needs to, but he's so headstrong that he refuses to fall back asleep when he wakes up in the middle of the night. Hopefully it's a phase?!?!

If he ever does make it back to his bed - here's what it looks like. Then he usually falls off and screams for an hour - we're still trying to come up with a solution. Tonight we just have pillows stacked up against his door to muffle the sound. As I type, I realize how crazy it sounds, but I'm a delirious preggo in need of sleep here!!! :)

Fashion Show at Lunch!

Livy loves me taking multiple pics of her in new outfits. We went to Old Navy and came home with some new leggings, shirts, and flip flops for her and she immediately needed a fashion show!

Then, the other day she jumped out in this little number:

She immediately said, "I'm a genius. And a pretty girl. And superpower!" Thank goodness those fire leg warmers were in a box of clothes given to me... :) I think along with herself, I'm also her biggest fan!

31 Weeks!

Here's the babe at 31 weeks! She's getting so big and we're getting so excited! We've been really strict with the kids lately about getting them to bed by 7 and during our alone time Matt and I keep thinking about how crazy it will be that we'll have a little newborn chillin alone with us soon. Well, I keep thinking about how weird it is - I'm not sure Matt even realizes this little one will be making her grand appearance SOON!

I'm so excited - I get to schedule the c-section date next week. We'll get to start our paper chain 50 day countdown then, too! Woo! Everything has gone so smoothly during this pregnancy - I feel really lucky! I think Heavenly Father is giving me a break since he chose me to take on little Adam. :) With having such a little sass and then a little thrill seeker - I can't wait but I'm also terrified to see what little Embry's personality will be! I don't think it's possible to have a calm little Wiseman - so we're just accepting now that we'll be "blessed" with another little intense personality!

I have a picture like this from the other two little ones - all of my babies favor the right side of my stomach and push their little bodies as far that way as possible! It's the most painful thing and always knocks the wind out of me - but it's so funny to see that every kid has done it so far!

Daddy Daughter Date!

Alexis bought this Groupon for 2 hours of tubing at Soldier Hollow in Midway. Since the aforementioned Alexis is with child, it was my privilege to make the trip to Midway for a little slip sliding bonding time with the daughter. So this morning, Alivia and I suited up and hit the road.

In case it wasn't obvious, I was not super excited to drive all the way to Midway and drag Alivia up and down the hills. Alivia had her own misgivings as well, mostly surrounding careening down an icy slope on a small tube. After many bedtime stories of Alivia's beloved Ryan the Frog (our imaginary frog friend who gets into trouble daily only to be saved by his friends Alivia the Frog and Baloo the Bear) having a blast tubing and playing in the snow, her fears were quieted.

As we left this morning she was pretty pumped, which caused my own attitude to improve greatly. We stopped and got some treats for the ride and Alivia settled down in the back seat with a movie on the iPad. It turns out a 50 minute drive with Alivia is very enjoyable, especially with no screaming younger brother who shall remain nameless.

Alivia was very cute and all the tourists couldn't get over her eyes and how well she speaks for someone who looks like she is 2.

We made it up and down 5 or 6 times in our allotted time. It was a very warm day, which was nice but it also made the snow slushy and not very slippery. People would get about halfway down the hill and get stuck. I don't know if we never got stuck because I'm super fat and had a lot of momentum or because I have impressive tubing skills. Probably the latter. The highlight for Alivia was when her rope came off of the lift that drags you up the hill and she slid down next to me. Luckily I caught on to her rope and towed her up the hill with me. All in all it was a fun daddy daughter date.

Randomosity Through Pics

Whenever we get this kid ready for church - he always looks just like my little bro. Ky

One of Liv's last naps - she has outgrown them now - she's getting so huge!

Sometimes they're best friends and I love it

 I love these feet

This is what happens to Adam while playing around at Liv's gymnastics

Their new way of going down the stairs - not annoying at all since they never get hurt doing this...

Nana got her her new favorite Easter dress of all time - she's thrilled with the pinkness!

She, of course, asked for all of these pics to be taken. I had her try on this swimsuit for a "friend" we were going to give it to. I told her MAYBE she could get one for her birthday coming up. :)

We had a random visit from our CA cousins - Cal wasn't super stoked to take a break from the wii, poor boy

2 Year Dr. Appt - the boy is cured of his pneumonia! We've been given the go ahead to let him scream it out at night - yay us! The doc said we could put some pillows against the door to help muffle the sound. :)

Fire Station Field Trip!!

Matt took Liv and Jake to their field trip this week to the fire station! All Liv would tell me afterward was how scary they looked in all their gear... We keep reiterating that if they are in our house - they are here to help us!
