St. Patty's Take 2

So St. Patrick's Day was a serious bust last month. As I mentioned, March kind of got away from us as did my favorite holiday. I don't know why I love it so much, maybe because my mom claims I have Irish blood (still no actual proof), but I just do.

Every year I make Matt watch "Darby O'Gill and the Little People" - a sweet old Disney movie I watched with my family when I was little. This year Matt secretly thought he had gotten out of watching it and purposely tried not to mention it so I wouldn't be reminded. He thought he was being sneaky, but I was bi-winning the sneakiness award. My good friend, Jessica, missed out on an awesome green celebration so we decided to celebrate it a month later, thus ensuring that Matt would watch the movie! Also, the belated celebration was even more awesome than we thought it would be!

Jessica decorated and made the yummiest green pasta EVER!

I was in charge of drinks - so obviously the Sprite/Green Sherbet Mix was a must :)

Livy and Lola got reacquainted after a year of not seeing each other :) Livy took on her normal bossy role, and Lola adoringly followed after her. They were SO cute together!

Livy teaching Lola how to be a big sister to a little brother by using a doll for the demonstration.

Best. Picture. Ever. Livy was helping Lola onto the bed - which was hilarious because Liv is a freaking shrimp! Eventually, she did it by flipping little Lola on her side and shoving her with all her might. Funniest thing ever!

Destined to be best little friends! And one day we're hoping Lola and Adam are a little more :)

While at dinner, Matt convinced Reece how awesome it would be to have "brother husbands" instead of there being sister wives... Haha Here's their brother husbands moment on the couch with all of the kids.

And here are Jessica and I laughing at Reece because he was annoyed at us for asking him to take a pic because it was interrupting him watching the banshee part of the movie. Hi-larious.

So Jessica and I discovered that celebrating holidays a month later is our new tradition. It's genius. Cheap decorations and way more fun! I can't wait to live by them soon! Hooray for the revival of Wiseman-Ivin Festivities! Let's be honest, you're the reason we moved back and we're the reason you picked BYU :)

Livy Louly Almost 3!!!

Liv's bday is almost a week away and yesterday I decided to go take advantage of the AWESOME weather and get a head start on her 3 year pics. They turned out super cute!

Matt is not a fan of this pic, but I like it!

I couldn't get her to stop posing...

LOVE this one.

She was doing a funny dance here.

So innocent and angelic looking... She was just told she'll get ice cream if she works with me for one more minute...

Silly face extravaganza:
I had to get her to do funny faces in hopes that she'd give me a genuine laugh afterward.

March just FLEW by!

Who even knows where March went??? I feel like we had SO MUCH going on - I barely had time to take pics! Anyhoo, here's what's been going on lately in our lives...

We suffered a devastating loss. We still love you, Jimmer.

We had an abundance of grandparents visiting at the same time. We even saw Nana TWICE this month. Livy and Adam were in HEAVEN. As were Matt and I since we got a week off from watching our kids :)

Adam discovered another favorite sucking thing to cope with bottle and binky withdrawals. His other favorite is Liv's toothpaste. (He's actually doing really well with no binkies and bottles! It was so much easier than I thought it would be.)

Our garage got some necessary organization thanks to Matt and Grandpa Rick. We also got a new shower door so now it doesn't fall on me every time I open it!!! :)

This little guy got his SECOND double ear infection in less than a month. We found out he has to get tubes put in his poor little ears. NOT EXCITED about him being put under.

And this guy turned super old. haha JUST KIDDING, Dad. 48 is the new 47... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PATA! Livy was very concerned that we talk about his birthday all day yesterday.

Livy's First Day of School!!!

So my aunt teaches preschool (and she's amazing at it), anyway her preschool is only for 4-year-olds, but she invited Livy to come one day just to see how it was. My mom ended up taking her so I don't have any pics but we did take the classic ready-for-school pose!

She was so freakin excited!

Don't ask about the boots. The rest of her outfit was SUPER cute but she insisted on the boots...

And my aunt told me she did amazing with the big kids and is most definitely ready for school :) She'll be starting in the fall - it feels so WEIRD! She's getting huge! Soon it'll be kindergarten and I'll be crying..

Fun at the Park

We had a park adventure today even though it was a cool 47 degrees. I'm sick of being cooped up in the house this winter! Anyhoo, we went and picked up our friends, Kelsey and little Miller, and the kids had a blast!

Here are some cute ones of the boy:

Best. Picture. Ever.

And our little Livy Louly:
Not even posed! She did this on her own :)

Cousin Jake:
Cute Little Miller:
Such a funny pic! I feel like he just entered into a room and he spotted someone and is doing the finger gun to them :)

Practicing a really complicated handshake they came up with themselves.
