So St. Patrick's Day was a serious bust last month. As I mentioned, March kind of got away from us as did my favorite holiday. I don't know why I love it so much, maybe because my mom claims I have Irish blood (still no actual proof), but I just do.
Every year I make Matt watch "Darby O'Gill and the Little People" - a sweet old Disney movie I watched with my family when I was little. This year Matt secretly thought he had gotten out of watching it and purposely tried not to mention it so I wouldn't be reminded. He thought he was being sneaky, but I was bi-winning the sneakiness award. My good friend, Jessica, missed out on an awesome green celebration so we decided to celebrate it a month later, thus ensuring that Matt would watch the movie! Also, the belated celebration was even more awesome than we thought it would be!
So Jessica and I discovered that celebrating holidays a month later is our new tradition. It's genius. Cheap decorations and way more fun! I can't wait to live by them soon! Hooray for the revival of Wiseman-Ivin Festivities! Let's be honest, you're the reason we moved back and we're the reason you picked BYU :)
