Fun with Friends!

Our friends came out to the area to have a family reunion from Mississippi and were able to stay the weekend with us. I feel so adult having friends come and stay with us. haha We haven't seen them since we went and visited them over a year ago. Matt and Jeff were best buds their freshman year at BYU - and then Courtney and I were added to the mix later as the wives! We were so excited to spend time with them and their cute family! We took the kids to the mall, a splash park, and the railroad museum. It was so fun!

Our two youngest becoming BFFs.

Here are the three older ones. I feel bad because Liv was sick the whole time they were here - so she was a bit nasty to them, but then today when they left, they were hugging each other goodbye - it was the cutest thing ever!

The whole gang! People were staring at all of our strollers as we walked past them. It was funny.

Best Buds with their Boys

The kids were loving the hugeness of the trains

This officially ends the last crazy/awesome weeks of our lives! It's funny because it feels really weird to only have two kids right now! haha Being a mommy of 2 has gotten A LOT easier - isn't that funny?? Well hopefully we'll be having a much more relaxing couple of weeks for a while...

From 6 kids to 5

So the day after we got home from watching the cute little Pulsiphers - we took on Matt's brother's kids - Gabrielle (6), Cal (4), and little Max (1). So I had 5 kids from 0-6! It was insane! Livy was in heaven with her cousins - so was Adam! I managed to keep things under control by having a movie each night. And in order to watch the movie, the kids had to clean up the toys and eat all of their food that day. It totally worked! They did so good!

They loved Adam and Adam was so happy! He must be confused to only have Livy around now.

Cal was a hilarious character. He found Livy's old hat and was LOVING it.

Then the kids were teaching each other some sweet gymnastics moves. I need to get Livy doing her forward roll on camera! Cal was so excited when he busted this move out for the first time.

And this was poor little Max about 90% of the time. The poor kid seriously missed his Mommy. Matt wasn't allowed to look at him or else he would start crying immediately. haha And when I was holding Adam and not him - he would follow me and cry. He would actually stop crying when I left the room - follow me - and then find me and start crying again. It was sad and hilarious all at the same time.

4 Freaking Months Old!

This baby is 4 months old! It's crazy! He's gotten so big! Unfortunately, he hasn't had his appointment yet, so I don't have his stats but I'm sure he's on the ginormous side of the charts.

Here he is starting oatmeal. He downed his first bowl! Livy NEVER finished one bowl of that stuff. He's definitely going to be my intense little eater!

Here are some things about our little 4 month old:

*He's a rolling machine! He's rolling everywhere - it's crazy!
*He's already starting to get on all fours! You're suppose to be the calm one, Adam! Stop it!
*Eating like a maniac - and getting some serious chunk on his cute legs!
*Charming the ladies in our ward
*He's a smile fest - especially when he sees his Momma!
*He is so happy when he wakes up - the opposite of his mommy
*He has to stand ALL THE TIME. It's so funny to see his chunky legs in the locked position.
*He still loves watching Baseball and Soccer - the most boring sports ever to watch!
*He's slowly getting onto a schedule of two naps a day
*He LOVES little kids bombarding him - I'm serious - no sarcasm - he just giggles and giggles! Livy pushed him really hard in his swing one day and I sent her to time out and then looked at Adam and he was just laughing away - so I got Livy out and said sorry but told her to be a little more careful - but he loves her!
*He refuses to giggle on camera - so frustrating!
*He likes to be scared
*He likes the bumbo for like 5 seconds and then starts arching over it
*He still hates falling asleep and fights it like the plague but he loves to have a blanket on his face when he's falling asleep
*He's generally a very chill kid still
*Everything that is in his hand ends up in his mouth
*He's a biter without teeth - and it's painful!
*He's very loud, just like his sister!
*Has his daddy's "demon eyes" when he's woken up abruptly

Cute little Pics

I mean - look at the chunk on those legs! It's awesome!

Too inappropriate? Haha - it's just funny because this kid flips me off more than any other kid EVER. Almost every time that I look at him, he's usually flipping me off. Oh Adam! haha

Proof he won't giggle on camera.

His second time eating oatmeal.

Happy Fourth of July! and BAM you're a mother of 6!

Since Matt was between jobs during the 4th - we decided to head to good old UT to join in the family festivities happening there. Both sides of our family had stuff going on - so we got to see everyone! I was enjoying the time with family so much that I didn't whip out the camera that much - so we only have a couple pics to document the trip.

My mom was visiting before we took off - so she was able to make the awesome 9.5 hour drive with us. How hilarious is this picture! Liv keeps looking EXACTLY like my mom and it keeps getting creepier and creepier.

Here's Liv with her Great Grandma Boley.

I did get some pics of my family after the Stadium of Fire fireworks show. Get ready for an extravaganza of awkwardness:

Matt wins the "Deer in the headlights/you look like a psychopath who's going to kill me" award.

I win the weirdest thumbs and neck award.

My little/HUGE brother, Ky, wins the "Your expression LOOKS the most awkward" award.

And my dad wins the "Your expression makes me FEEL the most awkward" Award

My mom was a close runner up to my dad's award.

Here are the kiddlies after the show. Livy LOVED the fireworks! She was clapping the entire time and screaming for joy - it was so cute!

So our trip out there was just suppose to be for the weekend - but my sister-in-law's sister asked if we could watch their kids for a couple days while they traveled about Europe (jealous!) and so we decided to earn a little extra cash watching their kiddlies. I actually posted about our last time watching them for a week - Livy was Adam's age now - it's like we've come full circle with the Pulsiphers. The kids were hilarious - but it became a bit exhausting going from mother of 2 to mother of 6! I think there might be a reason my body can only have 4 babies at most! But, we got some cute pics though.

Livy became best friends with Cayden - the little 4 year old. Also, Cayden was the coolest kid EVER. We told him that he needed to take a nap and he said - okay and walked by himself up to his room - laid down on his bed - AND FELL ASLEEP! JJ needs to teach me her wonder-mom ways!

We went to this place called Pirate Island with the kids one night. I was trying to find Livy - and of course here she was. She is definitely her daddy's daughter.

Here we are at the Provo parade at Matt's uncle's business - awesome seats and great parking! (Cayden on the left and Brinley on the right.)

Brinley and her younger sister, Casey, were SO GOOD with Adam and Livy! One morning, Brinley painted Livy's fingernails. It was so cute to see her with a big sister! I really hope she gets a little sister!

While at the parade, the kids very closely followed the life and unfortunate death of a dragonfly. Needless to say, there were serious tears. And I'm pretty sure one of the little boys there might be a sociopath... Just kidding! (Kind of.)

Wiseman fest. Livy was just as enthralled with the parade as Grandpa :)

***

After the parade and naptime - we decided to go to this cool little splash park in Highland - the kids LOVED it!

At first, this was as much as Livy wanted to do with the water.

She eventually gave in after showing some resistance.

Here's Casey and Cayden - they had no problem jumping right in!

This is Cayden's expression about 90% of the time. He's just so cute and happy!

And of course - Adam was pooped.

***

The sweet part about staying a few extra days was that we got to spend more time with Ben and Donnie - Matt's brother and wife. Donnie is the kids' aunt - so we had a BBQ, went swimming, and did fireworks together.

Adam LOVES the pool - he totally fell asleep - he was so relaxed!

Livy with her cousin Jake - he's 3 months younger but like 3 inches taller than her already! Livy still talks about her cute little cousin.

Here's the whole crew before the fireworks show. Take a look at Cayden!

Here's a close up - it was so hilarious! Like ten minutes before we started lighting fireworks - he was already in this position! I couldn't stop laughing every time I looked at him.

Livy, you should be smiling...

So during the Stadium of Fire fireworks show, Matt tried to get a U.S.A. chant started (for like a second, wuss) but no one jumped in (except me, of course). Anyway, while we were doing our own mini firework show - Livy took after her Daddy and out of the blue started yelling U.S.A.!! It was HILARIOUS.

Six Flags Marine World!

So for Matt's last day at Comcast - it was actually family day at Six Flags - what a hilarious last day, right? Anywho, the plan was that my mom would watch the kids while we went - but then we found out the kids were free and I really didn't want to leave Adam and deal with pumping at the park - so it became a family extravaganza event! One day I'll learn how to leave my kids - just not yet :)

I had never been there before, but this place was so crazy. It was like a water park/theme park/sea world/zoo! It was awesome! Livy was in heaven.

Here's Livy on one of the rides. We have no idea who the little girl is next to her, but thanks little girl for looking at the camera. haha

Nana and Adam getting some bonding time. Thanks, Mom, for putting up with my separation anxiety!

And here we are at the Shamu type show. It was so cool! Livy was obviously thrilled. She's still learning what smile means...

Happy Birthday, Father of my children!

Today is an extra special day because not only are we celebrating Matt's awesome job as a father - but we're also celebrating his birth - woo! Do you like the cake I made him? It's a two layer peanut butter cake - with chocolate frosting in the middle and peanut butter frosting on the outside - then crushed reece's peanut butter cups and drizzled chocolate on the sides. I was pretty proud of myself. We'll see how it tastes tonight.

Anywho, I just wanted to give a quick shout out to the best husband ever whose birth I'm more excited about than anyone else's.

Dearest Babe,

Thank you for always being an amazing father and husband. You're the best thing for me and to me. Everything you do for our family is greatly appreciated. You've exceeded every expectation I've ever had for a husband and father of my children. I'm so proud of the daddy that you've become since we started adding crazy kiddlies to the mix. I'm so happy that I get to share each day with you! I love you so much!

Love,

The coolest wife ever
