Livy started to get a little stuffed up a couple days ago and last night her cold became unbearable. She couldn't breathe and so she kept waking up. This is her first time being really sick and it was rough for everyone involved. So today we took it easy and there was a lot of this:
Then Alivia got a little too carried away with her medicine...
I spent most of the day using that gross little blue snot sucker to suck everything out of her nose. She hated me for it. Every time I did it she would look at me with a face of complete disgust and betrayal! Also, the poor kid can't breathe while she eats! I hate it! We just rocked in the chair while she cried and then she'd finally give up and fall asleep. Sick days suck.
Quick BYU sidenote!!! Here's Matt and Livy watching another complete shut out for the second week in a row! 44-0! Woo!
Here's an interesting tidbit: the last time BYU had back-to-back shutouts was in 1985 (before I was born) and they had the exact same scores respectively!!! 59-0 and 44-0! Weird, right??? Weird and AWESOME.

Alivia looks way into the game!! Way cute! And I hate it when babies are sick. They just look so miserable! Poor thing, I hope she is feeling better!
The best thing you can do so both of you get some sleep is to get a humidifier and leave it in her room (but you must keep her door mostly closed.) She can also sleep in her swing or carseat to keep her propped up. ...Also, when your breastfeeding try doing it in the bathroom on a chair with the hot shower on in the background so she will be able to breath while feeding. We have just been through this cold stuff with Porter and Emilee the last couple of weeks and it is not fun at all!!! :) Good Luck!
Poor alivia. Boston is teething so his nose his pretty much niagra snot falls and I hate it becasue I have to use the blue sucker and he hates that. He sees it and cries it's pretty sad. I hope she gets better.
