Happy 2012!

Our New Year's was quite uneventful which was actually really nice. We had had a crazy couple of weeks so it was nice to just chill. Matt had to work that night until 11 - so I got some quiet time to relax!

Here are the kids during their first banging pots and pans experience at about 6:45 p.m. Haha Liv kept trying to ask why they were doing this and I kept trying to tell her it's supposed to be fun! After this they were in bed within the next 15 minutes - HAPPY NEW YEAR, KIDS!

Here I am in all my glory at midnight - Nibs in one hand and sparkling cider in ther other, celebrating 2012 and the 300 bones I just won! My first candy in 6 months! I tried some M&M's and chocolate kisses - but nothing was really satisfying. The next day I tried an oreo shake - my all time fave - and I got through about 3 bites and almost barfed. Needless to say - I'm back off of candy and baked goods. I'm allowing myself to have some on birthdays - but who knows if I'll even want them. Matt and I finished out the night with some Psych and Uno - it was perfect! Matt and I have determined that 2012 is going to be our year - 2011 was a bit of a bust but we have high hopes this year :)

20 Weeks and Building My Nest

Are you wondering why that crazy pregnant lady is standing on top of the counter? Well apparently with 20 weeks brings my intense nesting phase - a.k.a. Matt's favorite time of pregnancy. My whole house has been ripped apart the past couple weeks and I have been reorganizing EVERYTHING. This means Matt has had to move almost every heavy object in our house to another place and then possibly back to where it was to begin with because I can't make up my mind. I'm serious - this guy really loves me - I'm not sure how I got so lucky. We've even gotten to the point where I don't even hear his little complaints under his breath. :) Anyhoo, here I am reorganizing all of the cabinets in our kitchen because I didn't feel right inside!

And here I am showing off my 20 week belly with Adam's help

 Love my babes!

And here is Matt spending his night off putting together our new computer desk that fits perfectly in this weird little place next to our kitchen. Our old one was almost completely destroyed by Adam and it had been bugging me for the last year. The new one made me so happy that I literally almost started crying which made Matt roll his eyes at me... haha

Last night we tackled the garage and attic space - I've decided to take a week off from the mayhem - then it will be our pantry, food storage, bedroom, and bathroom cabinet spaces. Who's excited!!! I know Matt is.

Real Christmas!

I was so bad Christmas morning - I didn't even take pics of them opening their presents. I did take some pics afterward, but luckily Matt caught it all on the video camera. This year we started our tradition of waking up Christmas morning and first watching a video about Christ and then saying a family prayer together. Then we opened the presents - the kids were so excited!

Christmas morning in Nana's Christmas pajamas!

 Dress #1

Adam's favorite present of all time - don't worry it lights up and makes really annoying sounds... This was a sacrifice on our part :)

Dress #2

Dress #3 - I just realized I didn't get a pic with her and her walking pony baby and sewing machine - she was in heaven!

Adam and his new vacuum

And Adam's new cape - hilarious.

And here's my present from Matt!! A headboard! He totally made it by himself - he must really love me. Isn't it amazing??

Ready for church! It was so nice going to church on Christmas!

Ky and Daisy - I think Adam loves Daisy more than he loves us - that's not an exaggeration.

Cousin Whitney on Christmas! :)

Merry Christmas, Dad

St. George Christmas

We headed down to St. George for the week before Christmas to spend time with the Baum family. It was so relaxing! And we got Christmas a week early - awesome! I still need to get the pics of the kids opening their awesome presents - but here is what we did during our week of fun...

Of course we had to go here... I love how my whole family including my children are lined up at the gun counter...

Adam's sweet shades he found at the gun store. We didn't buy them - but we were at a different store the next day and he saw red glasses again and refused to leave the store without them. Luckily, Nana loves him or he wouldn't have gotten them!

Kyky's one millionth posed candid shot taken with my phone. However, in the background you can see this little horse that Adam is playing with - he kept trying to ride it - hilarious!

So Adam is OBSESSED with Boo (Drew). Here's Nana desperately trying to get him to come to her - but nope! Every morning we were there Adam would wake up yelling, "I want Boo!!!" If only we could have gotten Boo to wake up with him... :)

Nana indulging Liv in her every whim... Both kids got everything they wanted and got to do whatever they wanted this week - the detox stage when we got home was SUPER FUN!

 Adam chillin with Aunt Megan

 Christmas mohawk!

My mom paid for all of us to go see Lion King in Vegas while she stayed home and watched the kids - best present ever! Seriously! It was so amazing!!!

Adam testing the limits - this is my life right now! He's lucky he's so cute.

Adam got a lot of bonding time with "Nana" while we were with them. Livy calls him Pata and Adam calls him Nana - it was funny. He refuses to say Grandpa or Pata.

Baum Photos 2011 - Woo!

We took family pics while we were all together with the Baum fam in St. George last week and, of course, my pregnant brain can't pick a fav! I seriously love all of them. The girl that took our pics was so cute, too. I wish Adam would have been a bit more cooperative - but that is just not his thing lately! :)
