4 Freaking Months!

I can't believe it has been 4 months already! Here are the stats:

Weight: 13 lbs. 1 oz. - 33%

Length: 23 inches - 9%

Head circ.: 39.5 cm - 13%

She's our petite little thing and we love it!

The doctor said she look awesome. She kept smiling every time he touched her to make sure she was okay - it was the cutest thing. He also calmed my fears about her ridiculously long tongue. :) She totally passed out right after the shots. It was hilarious.

 Random facts about Embry/Em/Emmy/Rosie:

*She knows who her mama is and instantly recognizes when I'm in the room. She'll get fussy with whoever is holding her and the second I touch her she calms down.
*She's a quick little eater
*She loves to grab at things
*She loves to be standing
*She immediately rolls when she's put down
*She has a tight little grip
*She has the cutest little voice that she has started to use a lot more
*Sometimes she'll be sitting perfectly calm and then she'll just start full on screaming and crying for no apparent reason - it's kind of funny
*Sometimes she'll try and get up like she's going to crawl - it's crazy!
*She has the prettiest longest fingers
*Her leg chunk is in full force and is the best!
*She loves her swing still

  She always has to have her hand behind her head holding on to something.

 We just started sleep training. She falls asleep so fast by herself when we put her down. She's awesome.

 She has the cutest little feet

 She's starting to talk all the time and loves to giggle!

She always looks like she's trying to kill herself when she sleeps

She puts up with a lot of loving abuse from her siblings

She really is so sweet and happy. Please stay this way!

Embry's First Dip in the Pool!

 On one of the last days of summer we finally decided to go swimming in the pool here. The kids were so excited! I kept telling them all summer I couldn't get in the pool because of my owie from having Embry - and they bought it all summer... Anyway, I finally gave in and got in my swimsuit.

This kid loves to stand at 3 months - not intense at all like her brother and sister...

 Embry didn't seem to care much about getting in the water. She's so funny. She's very go with the flow, usually. For now, at least..

Adam was fearless, of course. The kid freaking jumped in the pool again with none of us around. He has a serious death wish.

 And Liv found out she could swim again! It was so funny!

 Embry got pretty tuckered out after her first swimming experience.

 In true girl fashion, so happy one second and then completely freaking out for no particular reason!

Randomosity of August/September

That's right. My husband loves me. This is how he spent part of his break from school - refinishing some of our bedroom furniture. I love it.

And here's how we keep the kids entertained while we're engrossed with house projects. Blue's Clues and mac and cheese.

The kids got invited to their little friend, Lola's, birthday cupcake party - best party ever! They were LOVING icing their own cupcakes.
