First Wiseman Visit of 2012!

Matt's parents came into town for our nephew's birthday. The kids always get so excited to see Grandpa Rick and Grandma Sherrie!

When Rick and Sherrie first came over, Adam was the only one home with me and he was playing his pretend shy face. He just kept his hands in his pockets and pretended like he couldn't speak English.

Eventually, he warmed up and was playing ball with Grandpa Rick and LOVING it! This kid is so funny.

They thought they were hilarious.

Love dinner at Mimi's!

Little did Rick know that Matt had a few housekeeping plans for his dad during this trip... I've been on Matt forever to fix this cabinet and a broken drawer! Of course it only took Rick SECONDS to fix it with Matt helping out by "observing" :)

And little did I know that I would be getting my new best friend during their trip! I have now completed my pregnant high schooler look with my new retainer! :) My front tooth that Rick put in over the summer started shifting so he was SO NICE and made me a retainer to fix the problem. I have to wear it all day for a couple months and then just at nights soon. My lisp sounds pretty awesome.

One night we went to eat dinner at IHOP with Grandpa Rick. This balloon guy came around and made the coolest balloons we had ever seen! He made Ariel and Blue from Blue's Clues for Adam's. They were in heaven!

I told the boy to stop chewing on the nose! He loves learning things the hard way lately.

Pooped from all the crying on the way home.

Fun at the Park:
All 3 kids smiling - it was a miracle!

The Best Holiday Ever! a.k.a. St. Patty's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I know it's a ridiculous holiday, but I love it!

Last night we were visited by some silly leprechauns who left footprints on the kids' faces! We told the kids we didn't get any footprints because we weren't wearing green at night so they pinched us instead.

They even left surprises in their shoes!

The leprechauns were nice enough to leave some socks, sunglasses, treats, and even a little green in their shoes! When Liv told my mom they left her money - she said they left her a hundred dollars. Then when she told my dad, she told him they left her 24 cents... I love her concept of money.

After they found their glasses, we told them to go look in the mirror in the bathroom. Then they discovered that the sneaky leprechauns had peed in the toilet and forgot to flush! But don't worry - they washed their hands. Hearing Liv tell this story was hilarious. She thought it was insane that they didn't flush! Watching Adam act out this story to Matt a hundred times was even funnier. He was so worried about it that he finally just flushed it himself. haha

After the bathroom we decided to eat breakfast. Then the kids discovered that they turned the milk green! They were so nervous to use it in their cereal, but were relieved to find out it tasted the same as normal milk. :)

We finished the day by watching Darby O'Gill and the Little People. Best. Movie. Ever. We only watched the leprechauns part so that they weren't terrified by the banshee. They totally appreciated the movie as much as their Mommy does and even danced like leprechauns while they watched it! My kids are awesome! :)

Best Friends

When you're the best of friends...

You try to crush each other

(If you're Adam) You agree to let your friend put eye shadow, lipstick, and a headband on you

You hold hands as you walk along (my fave)

You pretend to take your rolling backpacks to the airport every morning to see Nana :)

You pose with fake smiles together

You push each other on the swings

And you take turns performing CPR on Daddy

Aquarium with Daddy!

Matt was able to take Friday off so we decided to take the kiddlies to the Aquarium yet again - we're very determined to get our worth out of our memberships there! Adam has learned that this is where Nemo is - so the second we got into the parking lot - he immediately started yelling, "I see Nemo!" over and over again. Cute little bugger.

In front of the otters - creepy animals!

Here we are in front of the Nemo tank!

Livy was brave enough to touch the stingrays this time! I won't even do it - it's a good thing Matt was with us!

Adam really wanted to as well, but I'm not sure if his little arm was long enough to reach them.

Here's Matt and Adam in front of the penguins - Matt's new favorite animal! This part was surprisingly empty so we sat and watched the penguins forever. They are so cool! We decided that instead of a fish tank, we want a penguin tank in our house one day. Totally doable. :)
