Whenever Adam is crying in the car - we start chanting his name and he immediately stops. It's so funny! Anyhoo, we were out on a walk today and Adam was looking so cute on his little scooter that he loves to ride - so I was able to grab some cute pictures!

When Grandma Shewwie Comes to Town!
Livy LOVES when Grandma Shewwie comes over! I mean we all do - but Livy talks about it for days coming up to her visit and then days after she leaves. She has so much fun with Grandma!
8 (and a half) months old!!!
I totally meant to post about this cute bugger when he turned 8 months - so I'm only a tad bit late. But his world (and ours) has been changing like crazy!!! All of a sudden he's this massive almost toddler kid who is honestly - the cutest little boy EVER. People go crazy when they see him - they love his ginormous blue eyes and think he's the sweetest thing ever - which is true - most of the time.
Funny little things about Adam:
*He loves his food more than anything else EVER. He eats just as much as Livy - if not more and gets the most intense look on his face that consumes his whole body when he sees a bite about to be eaten. He will race over to anyone he sees eating and climb up to their leg and beg for food like a puppy.
*He loves his sister more than anyone else EVER. She can get him to laugh harder than anyone else. He loves rolling on the floor with her and trying to catch up with her.
*He can speedily climb up our stairs - but not down unfortunately.
*He always has at least two bruises on his forehead - sometimes goose eggs
*He is the lightest sleeper and will wake up if you even turn the knob to enter into his room
*He knows how to turn on the light switch with his thumb right next to his crib - it's so cute
*He can stand holding onto the couch and then push off and grab onto something else nearby - walking is getting closer and closer - it's crazy!
*He can stand for like 5 seconds
*He sleeps through the night from 8 to 8!
*He's started taking longer naps instead of just cat napping all day
*He can crawl SO FAST!
*He's a strong little bugger - don't ever try to take away a sucker
*He can suck a sucker all the way until it's gone!
*He can sign more and milk
*He still only says dada - but I've heard mama once! Traitor.
*He can hold his own and will fight if you try to mess with him.
*He is Uncle Kyler's TWIN
*He's not happy just sitting and watching - he wants to be in the action! I thought second kids were suppose to be chill!?!?
*He hates hats or anything touching his head
*He's obsessed with the computer and charger and loves getting electrocuted.
*He loves the dishwasher!
*He has this hilarious little chuckle that he does - I need to catch it on camera
I love Livy!
Last night during her bath, Matt squirted her with a squirt gun and she yelled, "No, Dad! We don't shoot people! We only shoot animals!"
While she was going potty the other day, she told Matt: "Daddy we don't drink poop, it's yucky! And we don't eat pee!" So random, but I'm glad she knows it. :)
We were going to this bounce place the other night and she yelled, "Mom, I'm so... EXCITED!!!" It was so cute to hear her express excitement.
There are three events that this little girl is super excited about:
1. Going to school when she's big
2. Getting baptized - she always changes what age she'll get baptized. Yesterday it was three, sometimes it's eight or nine. But she sure is excited.
3. Getting her pink gun. Thanks, Daddy...I'm amazed at how often I say Oh my gosh. I'm also amazed at how much attention she pays to everything I say so that she can hopefully catch me saying a naughty word! Ha! One time we told her we were going to wash her mouth out with soap if she says bad words and she laughed at us and said, "No that's yucky! Soap goes in your hand!" We just started laughing and then explained that it's suppose to be gross so you don't say it!
Also, Nana was loving having Liv at home, not just to play dress up and do her hair every day, but to give her a voice lesson every day. Livy was LOVING IT!!! My mom showed her off to all of her students. It was so cute! Livy totally loved singing for anyone she could!
Funny little story:
Changes! Ch-ch-changes!
Even though Adam is only 8 months - he is so massive! So we decided that a big change needed to happen to the carseat situation! Instead of get another carseat for Adam, we got those weird booster things for Liv which are SO MUCH EASIER! And lighter! Love it!
Liv was excited for the big change.
Adam, not so much.
Here they are both in the van. Once we actually started driving - Adam was ALL SMILES. He just kept looking at me and Matt and getting so excited that he could see us! Love that boy! Livy started saying she wanted to be a baby again and take back her old carseat, but it only lasted a second and then she embraced being a big girl!
We had another random change in our house. We scored this desk off KSL for $7 and we decided we would fix it up.

Here's the process of making it awesome.
And here is the awesomeness!
Single Mom Parenting with some Pumpkin Carving
While we were in CO, Matt was there for the beginning and end - but I stayed with the kids by myself for the majority of the week. So I decided to take on pumpkin carving with just the two kiddlies while everyone else was apparently busy doing something... The pictures are pretty hilarious.
Here we are all smiles and excited for our adventure!
Then Livy found out what pumpkin guts were and became quite disgusted and Adam, on the other hand, was upset that he could touch them.
He can fly! He can fly! He can fly!
After Drewbee's wedding in UT, the next night they had their second reception in CO so I flew with my mom and the kids while Matt had to drive back with my dad and brother. It was pretty intense - we had to leave for the airport at like 5 in the morning. It was awful. I was so scared of how I would make it through the airport with the kids and how they would be on the plane - but it was ridiculously easy! Yay for awesome kids!
