Pumpkin Patch!

We were lucky enough to have Matt's parents in town Conference weekend. Livy and Adam were the most excited. They love Grandma Sherrie and Grandpa Rick.

So while the boys did this...
(They got to actually go to the Priesthood session in Salt Lake which for some crazy reason meant they had to leave 4 hours early... Sneaky boys)

Anyway, we took off to a pumpkin patch (which I had no idea we were going to or else I wouldn't have worn a skirt and flip flops - that made it real fun).

Adam loved these sweet little tractor bikes. If only he had longer legs and a knowledge of how to pedal...

Aidan was such an awesome cousin to Liv and Adam the whole time. I owe him cookies for helping me out - especially on this huge slide that the kids demanded to go down over and over again. Such a stressful experience while wearing a skirt and carrying a 26 lb. toddler.

Then they got to ride ponies! Livy took like 3 rides - and Adam I swear was happier than he looked...

Adam and Aidan - Beset cousin ever

I had never seen one of these corn kernel pit things. Livy thought it was so cool. Adam started crying once he started sinking in it. haha

The whole gang on the hay ride!

Here's the pumpkin Livy picked out.

 Sweet swings

He wanted to be in the picture alone. Of course, this is the only one he smiled for. Cute little bugger.

Introducing...

Baby Bubba!!!

That's right! My uterus is currently housing the 3rd littlest Wiseman. I mean, am I overly excited that our blog name makes sense again? I am! Do I recognize how ridiculous that is? Yes, yes I do. So that makes it okay.

Anyhoo - being preggo the 3rd time is really no big deal however we're changing it up a bit. We are NOT going to find out what it is! Yes, I know how crazy it is and yes I realize that at 15 weeks with the last two, I paid some creepy person to look inside my uterus and tell me what it is. But you can't stop me! I'm a master of my will power for the first time in my life right now! I mean, I haven't tasted sweets/candy since JUNE 1ST!!! I can do this! And I can especially do this because Matt really thinks I can't. So I must prove him wrong :)

And I get to choose the name this time since Matt has picked the last two! Woo! And this baby better feel lucky because here's what Matt would name a boy if he had the choice: Gunner, Duke, Pistol, Ranger, Rad, Tex - and the crazy list goes on!

Anyway - we are so excited! Well - it hasn't quite hit Matt yet - but it has hit Alivia who has been pretty obsessed with the baby. We had to name it Baby Bubba so she had something to call it. And she's pretty set on the baby being girl - here are some of her names she has picked: Kee, Keeta, and other crazy ones...

Most hilarious part of finding out we were preggo:

Me: Alivia there's a baby in my tummy!
Alivia: What? You're going to put Adam back in your tummy?
Me: No, a new different baby.
Alivia: I want to see it.
Me: No it's super tiny right now, we have to wait till it gets huge.
Alivia: I want her to come out NOW!

LATER:

Alivia: Mommy, how did the baby get in your tummy?
Me: Well, Mommy and Daddy did something special and now there is a baby in there.
Alivia: Wait, it was special?
Me: Yes it was special.
Alivia: I'm going to ask Daddy if it was special.

(Goes to Matt who was sitting right next to me)

Alivia: Daddy, did you put that baby in Mommy's tummy?
Matt: Yep.
Alivia: Was it special?
Matt: Yep it was special.
Alivia: I don't want it to be special!! I just want you to grab the baby and put it in there!
(Making a claw form with her hand as if she's grabbing a baby...)

Me and Matt: ????

Croup - AH!

(You know he's sick when when he climbs up on the couch - turns his head to the side and closes his eyes and falls asleep!)

Croup has hit our house in full force!!! And it has landed right on the boy!

It was SO sad! The first night he got sick - I stayed up half the night making sure he didn't die because I thought there wasn't much they could do for croup. We slept in the bathroom with the shower running hoping the steam would help. And then Matt spent the rest of the night/morning sitting outside with Adam wrapped up in blankets because it was the only thing that would soothe him. By morning we knew we had to take the poor boy in because it wasn't getting better.

So the poor teeny guy ended up in urgent care getting steroids to open up his airway and getting breathing treatments just like Matt had when he was little. They took x-rays to make sure it wasn't pneumonia and then determined he had croup/BRONCHITIS!

After a couple breathing treatments he was SO MUCH better. He then had a mean day where all he would do is throw tantrums and hit himself, then hit me, and then finish it off by pinching my arm. That day was super fun, as well. He's finally to the coughing stage that I know will last all winter. Poor boy - he's just our little sickling!

Just Keep Swimming!

We had Livy do swim lessons this summer. Not just any swimming lessons, though. There is this lady who teaches swim lessons in her backyard and takes babies as young as 3 months old. It is pretty hardcore. One might even say it has been borderline water boarding. Her first couple days were ROUGH. She screamed a lot.

It was hard for me so I would just leave. Matt doesn't find that as hard to watch - he finds it more funny... He did tell me that every time she would go under she would come up and scream, "I need to barf!" Then she'd go under again and come up and scream, "I hate this!" Then she'd go under again and come up and scream, "I want my dad!" That part was kind of funny.

But after a couple days she was floating on her own! It was amazing. She has become quite the little swimmer and has SO MUCH more confidence. And it's relieving to me to know that if she were to ever fall in a pool she would immediately flip to her back and swim to the side. It's so cute to see her succeed! These lessons are great for self-esteem boosters. Although, Liv has no problem with self-esteem - she knows how awesome she is and will tell you so herself :)

With Brinley - her favorite instructor. Brinley has been so awesome with Livy - firm with her when she needs to be but so gentle and fun!
Dives:

She became an awesome little swimmer by the end of it! She always had to have her pink board once she started doing big kid lessons. She can do the back stroke, front crawl, blow bubbles, float on her back - she's amazing!!!

Matt Climbs a FREAKING Mountain

Yes! An actual mountain! Matt's buddy asked him if he wanted to hike Timpanogos one day and somehow he got Matt to say yes. They left at 3 in the morning (CRAZIES) and hiked 14 miles up and down a mountain! Crazy! I still can't believe he did it! Way to go, Babe!

F.H.E. at Trafalga

We met Drew and Megan at Trafalga for FHE one night - it was so fun!

Most hilarious part of the night:

You think you know? You have no idea...

Here is what has been going on lately in the Wiseman household since I've had no motivation to do or blog anything :)

Fun in the mountains with friends - this happened forever ago but I just found these pics:

And riding their carts like crazy Utah drivers:

Tahoe!!!

Our long lost friends, the Ruggles, invited us to have a fun labor day weekend with them in Tahoe. It was so fun and a much needed vacation/reunion!!!

Livy and Cos had a fun time reuniting. They immediately returned to the best friend status and had a sleep over every night. They had to sleep in the same bed - of course! They were pretty inseparable the entire trip.

1st Day - Walking Around Tahoe

Day 2 - Cabela's & Scheel's

Day 3 - Church & The Dock

Last Day - Beach Day:
