Here's Livy Lou on the day of her first gymnastics class. I need to invest in some cute little leotards for the girl. So we decided that since Livy's going to have zero height - she can become a little short gymnast! Just kidding, she just has so much energy, so we're attempting to help her burn some of that during the week and just MAYBE start to get a little focus. First, we tried a structured toddler class which didn't go too well. We were both almost to tears towards the end. So now we're doing an unstructured class which is SO MUCH BETTER. I follow her lead instead of her following a coach's lead. We'll probably stay in this class until she's two, just so the coolness of the gym can wear off. Her favorite things to do there are: push this little tire across the floor, walk across the beam over and over, hanging from the mini bar, and jumping on the trampoline and in the bounce house. Here's what she gets at the end of each lesson:Monday, October 12, 2009

We ventured to Apple Hill today with our friends, the Ruggles. I think we caught Livy's attitude for the day perfectly. She was a bit of a pill! Anywho, it was chilly outside but it was way fun and VERY DELICIOUS! Our tasty treats included: an apple pie apple (SO GOOD), apple donuts, and the yummiest apple juice I've ever tasted in my life - it was so thick!

Liv totally loves her BFF, Cosette. They were so cute when they were driving up together. I swear they have their own little language. They were making the same sounds and then giggling at each other. It was so cute. Also, a man informed Matt that this pumpkin was 365 pounds, which brings this question to my head: how big are the seeds?? We attempted to get the men to sit back to back on the ginormous pumpkin with the girls... apparently they weren't down for that. Anyway, that was really the only part that Livy was happy about. She was mad the entire time because I wouldn't let her jump into the little lake there. Go figure... 18 month olds are awesome.

20 Weeks and 18 months old! Holy Crap.
Today was a big day. I reached the 20 week mark - oo ooooo! And our little Livy Lou turned 18 months old - officially! We celebrated the 20 weeks with an ultrasound (which verified yet again that he does in fact have a penis). I decided I'm finally okay with documenting week to week. So here I am in all of my pregnancy glory...
I also celebrated it by buying his first little boy outfit! I couldn't resist. Not only did the shirt speak the truth, we all know he will look JUST LIKE his daddy, but also because it was $1! Come on! One buck! I love it!
Livy's day however, did not go so well. We celebrated by getting a flu shot. It was sad. She only cried for like 10 seconds but I still felt bad for her. On the way home, I let her play with my lip gloss because I felt so bad. Here's what she looked like when we finally arrived home:
Matt says she looked like the Joker. She does look kind of creepy...

Cute Little Bugger

Our baby is almost 18 months! It's insane! She's getting so big and talking so much. And she's so funny all of the time! We love the constant entertainment. Lately, she loves: walks outside, getting as dirty as possible, drawing on everything, saying the number two, pointing out Jesus in any picture of him that she can find, holding her baby, giving us cheesy smiles while tilting her head from side to side, saying Amen really loud at the end of prayers, reading books, kissing my belly, mimicking everything we do and say, and chatting with us non-stop.When Santa/Grandma Comes to Town...
A week ago, my mom came to visit us for the weekend as mentioned in the Wicked post. It was awesome. Since she doesn't get to see Livy very often (in person) she wants to spend as much time with her as possible. What does this mean for Matt and me? We get three days of sleeping in, no changing diapers, no dealing with tantrums, and the list goes on! It's awesome! We are big fans of Grandma coming to town. And Livy LOVES the constant attention.

Anywho, every time Grandma B. leaves, this is usually what's left behind:
A ridiculous amount of new toys... (She came this weekend to buy Livy's big Christmas presents that we wouldn't be able to get home from CO. And we weren't suppose to open them, but we couldn't help ourselves. We were more excited than Livy. Now we have no idea where all of this is going.)
And for us, groceries! Woo! We've never had so many boxes of snacks! Thanks, mom! Please move closer so Matt and I can have more date nights!
